Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using ConRob apps. By using any covered app, you accept these terms.

Effective: September 24, 2026 Contact: info@conrob.dev
The agreement

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ConRob LLC ("ConRob," "we," "us"). They cover the following apps and any related services (each, an "App"):

  • Lolo's Birds — com.conrob.lolosbirds
  • Lorix — com.conrob.lorix
  • Localz — com.conrob.localz
  • Gauntlet Duel — com.conrob.gauntletduel

By installing, accessing, or using any App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps. If you are using an App on behalf of a minor, you accept these Terms on the minor's behalf and accept full responsibility for the minor's use.

Please read the limitation of liability, indemnification, and arbitration sections carefully. They limit ConRob's liability to you, require you to indemnify ConRob, and require most disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court.

Who may use the apps

Eligibility

The Apps are intended for a general audience age 13 and older and are not directed to children under 13. You represent that you are at least 13 years old, or that you are a parent or legal guardian accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor aged 13 or older and supervising that minor's use. We may refuse service to anyone at any time for any lawful reason.

What you may do

Limited license

ConRob grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Apps on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the app store or platform from which you obtained the App (for example, Google Play). All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or attempt to extract the source code of any App except as permitted by law.

Your responsibilities

Your content and conduct

You are solely responsible for everything you transmit, share, post, or otherwise make available through the Apps — including messages, images, files, audio, video, voice memos, display names, room names, and any other content ("Your Content") — and for all activity under your use of an App. ConRob does not pre-screen content and is not responsible for the content, conduct, or statements of any user.

You agree not to use any App to:

  • Violate any law or regulation, or facilitate wrongdoing of any kind;
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or harm any person, or send unsolicited bulk messages (spam);
  • Share sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any content exploiting children — zero tolerance; accounts and content are removed and may be reported to authorities (see our Child Safety Standards);
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any App, server, or network;
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access any App except through published interfaces;
  • Circumvent usage limits, trials, bans, or safety measures.

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, remove, or restrict any content or account that we believe violates these Terms or may expose any person to harm or liability. Any enforcement action — or failure to act — does not make ConRob responsible for user content or conduct.

Localz-specific risks

Localz: assumption of risk

Localz connects you with strangers near you. You use Localz's proximity, chat, messaging, media-sharing, and voice/video features entirely at your own risk. ConRob does not verify users' identities, backgrounds, ages, or intentions, and does not guarantee that any user is who they claim to be.

By using Localz you acknowledge and expressly assume the following risks:

  • In-person meetings. If you choose to meet anyone you encountered through Localz, you do so at your own risk. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts. ConRob is not responsible for anything that happens before, during, or after any meeting.
  • Events, activities, and meetups. Any event, activity, meetup, gathering, or outing that is created, discussed, organized, promoted, joined, or attended through Localz is organized entirely by users. ConRob is not the organizer, sponsor, host, promoter, or participant of any such event or activity, and has no involvement in, knowledge of, or control over what happens there. All responsibility and all liability for any event or activity — including anything that happens to you or anyone else before, during, or after it — rests solely with the users who create, organize, join, or attend it. You participate in any Localz-related event or activity completely at your own risk.
  • Location information. Proximity features inherently reveal approximate information about where you are. You control how much location detail you share (precise, nearby, city-level, or none). Anything you reveal through the App may be seen, saved, or misused by other users.
  • User content. Other users may send content that is offensive, false, misleading, or unlawful. Direct messages and calls are peer-to-peer and are not monitored by ConRob. Group messages are retained on our servers for a limited time (currently about 60 minutes) for delivery and safety purposes and then deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy. Rooms you create may be removed after about 60 minutes of inactivity (with a warning at about 45 minutes), which deletes their messages.
  • Light moderation. Localz is intentionally lightly moderated. We provide block and report tools, but we do not guarantee a safe, error-free, or abuse-free experience.

What ConRob does not guarantee. ConRob guarantees nothing about Localz or its users: not any user's identity, age, background, or intentions; not the safety, legality, or appropriateness of any interaction, meeting, event, or activity; not the uninterrupted availability of the App, any room, or any feature; and not the delivery, persistence, or deletion of any message. Features, rooms, limits, and the service itself may change or be discontinued at any time.

No duty to protect. ConRob has no duty to protect you from, warn you about, investigate, monitor, or intervene in the conduct of any user, or in any meeting, event, or activity connected with Localz.

You agree that ConRob LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates have no liability for any interaction between users — whether online or in person — or for any event, activity, meetup, or gathering created, discussed, organized, joined, or attended through Localz, or for anything that happens before, during, or after any of them.

Money

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions in the Apps are processed by the app store platform (for example, Google Play), not by ConRob. Prices, free trials, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the platform's terms and are subject to change. For example, Localz Unlimited is currently offered as an annual subscription (currently US $39.99 per year) purchased through Google Play: it is billed by Google, renews automatically until you cancel through your Google Play account, may include a free trial period (currently 3 days; trial eligibility is determined by Google), and any trial or refund is subject to Google's policies — ConRob cannot issue refunds for platform-processed payments.

Deleting your Localz identity, wiping app data, reinstalling the App, or changing devices does not cancel your subscription. To stop future billing you must cancel through your Google Play account. We may change prices, trials, or features going forward; existing subscriptions are handled under the platform's subscription rules. Except as required by law, all purchases are final.

No promises

Disclaimer of warranties

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConRob disclaims all warranties.

We do not warrant that any App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components; that defects will be corrected; or that any content is accurate or reliable. You download and use the Apps at your own discretion and risk.

Risk allocation

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will ConRob LLC, its owners, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) any App, any user content or conduct, or any interaction with another user — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConRob's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Apps will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to ConRob for the App giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; where that is the case, ConRob's liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

You cover us

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConRob LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Content; (b) your use of any App; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or of any third party's rights; or (e) any interaction between you and any other user, whether online or in person; or (f) any event, activity, meetup, or gathering you create, organize, promote, join, or attend through Localz, or anything that happens before, during, or after it.

Enforcement

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your use poses a risk to others, to ConRob, or to the operation of the Apps. You may stop using the Apps at any time. Sections intended to survive — including Your Content responsibilities, No Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Disputes — survive termination.

How disputes are resolved

Disputes, arbitration, and class-action waiver

Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at info@conrob.dev describing the dispute and to give us 30 days to resolve it informally.

Binding individual arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and ConRob agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to these Terms or the Apps will be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitration will take place in Dallas County, Texas, unless both parties agree otherwise, and will be conducted in English.

Class-action and jury-trial waiver. You and ConRob each waive any right to a jury trial and agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis — not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any representative proceeding.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration provision.

If any part of this arbitration section is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect, and any unenforceable class-waiver portion will be severed with the underlying claim proceeding in a court of competent jurisdiction in Dallas County, Texas.

The fine print

General

  • Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the affected App or another reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Child Safety Standards, constitute the entire agreement between you and ConRob regarding the Apps.
  • Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Export and legal compliance. You agree to comply with all applicable export and sanctions laws and represent that you are not located in, or acting on behalf of anyone in, a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction.

A note on legal protection. These Terms were drafted to give ConRob the strongest standard protections available in a consumer app agreement — as-is disclaimers, capped liability, user indemnification, assumption of risk for in-person meetings, and individual arbitration with a class-action waiver. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. Before relying on them in a real dispute, have them reviewed by Texas counsel.
